Vandals damage golf course after stealing buggy

Vandals have caused 'extensive damage' to Ramsey Golf Club after stealing a golf buggy and going on a joyride. 

 

It happened between 6pm on Friday and 5.30am on Saturday - police say a number of the greens and teeing off areas have been damaged. 

 

Officers are appealing for witnesses - they say it's a busy time of year for the club and this has caused 'a great deal of inconvenience and time to repair'.
