Businesses encouraged to 'take care of the pennies'

Local businesses are being urged to save money by entering into an energy saving competition.
 
The Energy Awards 2016 are aimed at public and private companies - it's their chance to show what they're doing to be more eco-friendly.
 
As the Island pledges to reduce carbon emissions the Department of Economic Development says a penny saved from turning the lights out is a penny in the pocket of local businesses.  
 
There are three categories companies can win: Best Innovation, Best Practice and Biggest Saving - development executive Richard Cuthbert tells us about some previous winners:
