Firefighters stop fishing boat from sinking
Firefighters had to rescue a fishing boat in Douglas this morning after it started to sink.
They were called to King Edward Pier just after 8.30am after the boat started taking on water.
The crew from Douglas pumped out water from the hull allowing the on-board electric pumps, which had developed a fault, to start operating again.
