Police student constables trained on mental health

Police recruits are being educated in the provision of support to people with mental health complaints.

That's Sophie Dvorakova who joins eight other student constables being taught how to handle people suffering from a variety of conditions on the beat.

It's part of government's Strategic Plan for Mental Health and Wellbeing - a collaborative cross-departmental approach to tackling dated preconceptions.
