Extra funding needed to train more medical staff on Island
Additional funds must be added to the Health and Social Care budget before more medical staff can be trained on the Island.
That's the message from Minister Howard Quayle in the House of Keys this week.
He was asked about plans to reduce shortfalls in recruitment by educating people locally - including the possibility of tying up with university students to solve the long-term problem:
