MHK's same-sex marriage proposals branded 'dangerous'

Potential changes to proposed same-sex marriage laws have been branded "dangerous".

In the House of Keys today North Douglas MHK John Houghton will try and amend the legislation to allow registrars to opt out of conducting marriage ceremonies.

Mr Houghton is also trying to make amendments to how the subject is taught in schools.

Lee Vorster is from the Manx Rainbow Association which represents the views of the Island's LGBT community.
