Hotel study finds Island is falling behind

Some of the hotels and guest houses on the Island are going backwards instead of forwards. 

That's according to a new study which found there are "quality issues" with the tourist accommodation here.

Hotel Solutions says the Island is falling behind competitor destinations - over the last 10 years 10,000 bed spaces have been lost. 

It claims there needs to be "direct government intervention" to combat current issues - Chief Minister Allan Bell says it is a concern:
