Impact of ditching horse trams unknown says tourism boss

It's too early to say whether ditching the horse trams will damage the Island's tourist appeal.

That's the message from the head of tourism who's been speaking to the industry about how the change could directly affect visitor numbers.

New figures show the Island welcomed nearly 290,000 people here last year.
