Chief says LegCo elections debate needs tightening up

Political input on electing a Chief Minister should form part of the wider debate.

That's according to the Chief Minister - he's commented after Michael MHK Alf Cannan's move to implement an amendment in the House of Keys last week.

It's suggested that the Legislative Council be omitted to pump democracy into the system by giving the vote to publically elected MHKs.
