Minister applauds DHSC on cutting operation wait times

Halving waiting times for people in need of hip and knee operations this year is a success story.

That's according to the Health and Social Care Minister who took up the issue when he was a backbencher.

Howard Quayle wanted to stop the two-year wait many people faced.

He says the challenge now is to minimise it again in 2016:
