24 arrests made over festive weekend
24 people were arrested this weekend in what police have described as a “particularly busy” period.
There were 177 calls logged between 8am on Friday morning and 8am on Monday.
15 of the arrests were made on Friday night.
Alcohol related offences dominated with people detained for drink driving, assault and public order - five people were arrested after being found in possession of drugs.
