Singing schoolgirl in a bid for Christmas number one

A Manx schoolgirl who epitomises "courage, resilience and hope" has joined forces with a former Westlife singer to make a bid for the Irish Christmas number one.

10-year-old Grace Lee is singing alongside Shane Filan - the duo teamed up with the cast of the Royal Shakespeare Company's award winning production of Matilda the Musical to record "When I Grow Up".

The single, which is out now, will raise money for The Children's Medical Research Foundation and the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.

Hospital is sadly a familiar place for Grace who suffers from congenital heart disease and chronic lung disease - her dad Chris says the family is incredibly proud of what she's managed to achieve:
