Remand for man arrested after drug raids

A Douglas man has been remanded in prison after pleading guilty to a number of drug offences following police raids earlier this week.

36-year-old Kenneth Hunter appeared at Douglas Courthouse today where he admitted two charges of possession with intent to supply and two of unlawful possession.

Neighbourhood officers from the Central Policing Team carried out a series of raids on properties in the capital on Tuesday - recovering cannabis resin with a street value of £67,000.

Hunter will appear before the Court of General Gaol Delivery on December 11th.
