Breast surgeon calls for new cancer treatments
The Island's dedicated breast surgeon is calling for new treatments to help boost breast cancer care on the Island.
Consultant oncoplastic surgeon Millie Bello is looking at a £500,000 process called Intraoperative Radiation Therapy.
She spoke at an event organised by members of the Isle of Man Cancer Services User Forum last night - where she announced her intentions.
Millie says it's not for everyone but explains how it would significantly benefit the eligible few:
