Health Minister defends funding setup for cancer drugs

The Health and Social Care Minister has defended the Island's position on funding cancer drugs.

It's after he revealed a standalone fund - which would cost £350,000 - was not an option, something which sparked criticism from the public. 

Howard Quayle says despite this money can still be granted for specialist cases with all medically approved treatments also paid for.
