Parking plans are about fairness says Chief

The Chief Minister has lamented the failure of a plan which would make government workers pay for their parking spaces.

Under the Department of Infrastructure's proposals senior civil servants working in central Douglas, and Tynwald members, would have to cough up.

However this week the motion was blocked by 12 votes - half of those coming from MLCs.
