MUA accounts showing surplus after merger

The Manx Utilities Authority is exceeding expectations made in a financial plan approved by Tynwald.

The latest annual report shows a surplus for the year of £2.1 millon.

It compares with a deficit for the Water and Sewerage Authority and Manx Electricity Authority of £4.8 million in 2013/14.
