Plans for more rigorous testing for sheltered housing

Elderly people on the Island will have to undergo more rigorous testing in order to qualify for sheltered housing.

New government proposals are aiming to achieve "greater fairness" in the allocation of public sector accommodation.

They have gone out to public consultation.
