Voters in Peel and Glenfaba go to the polls today

Voters in Peel and Glenfaba will let their voices be heard today as they select their new representatives.

The constituents have until 8.00pm to cast their vote and find the replacements for Tim Crookall in Peel and David Anderson in Glenfaba; both were successful in their bid for the legislative council.

Four are vying for the Peel post, with the choice between Leslie Hanson, Penny Hardman, Ray Harmer and David Pownall.

In Glenfaba it will be a two horse race with Geoffrey Boot and David Talbot going head to head.

The successful applicants will only have a guaranteed twelve months in the House of Keys, with the Island wide elections scheduled for September 2016.
