Fire Service praise public's patience following hectic week

The Fire Service has praised the patience of the public this week, after their use of access roads caused a significant hold up on Tuesday.

It was a busy day for emergency services - only made more challenging by the closed roads.
 
They dealt with everything from grass fires to a pair of bank holiday revellers who had managed to handcuff themselves together.
