Dutch racer killed during Manx Grand Prix practice session

A Dutch racer was killed following an incident near the 13th milestone during last night's Manx Grand Prix qualifying session.

42-year-old Dennis Hoffer was a newcomer to the Mountain Course but had been a regular racer on the European circuits for the last six years.

The Manx Motor Cycle Club has extended its deepest sympathy to Dennis's family and friends.
