Stroke patients to get 'joined up' care

Two new initiatives at Noble's Hospital are set to significantly enhance the care given to stroke patients.

The development of a single stroke ward, and a specialist service geared toward early stroke prevention, will significantly improve recovery outcomes.

It follows a recent review by the Royal College of Physicians and forms part of the Island's five year stroke strategy.
