Planning for new coffee shop in Douglas
Planning permission is being sought to turn an old flower shop into a specialist coffee shop in Douglas.
The property on 62 Bucks Road - formally The Flower Studio - would serve hot and cold takeaway food and have a "deluxe salad bar".
It would be open between 8am and 3pm on weekdays and closed at the weekends and on bank holidays.
The applicant says they feel there is a lack of coffee shops on that stretch of road - the permission is pending consideration.
