Patients still isolated following MRSA outbreak

A number of patients carrying MRSA are still isolated in Noble’s Hospital.

It follows a confirmed outbreak last Friday when Ward 5 was closed to quarantine the affected  for 'decolonisation'.

Infection control measures were put in place and the ward was subsequently opened on Tuesday of this week.
