Infrastructure wants more unity among backbenchers

Tynwald backbenchers need to stop attacking the Department of Infrastructure, says its Minister Phil Gawne.

 

In the House of Keys today Onchan MHK David Quirk will condemn Infrastructure for alterations to plans for the Douglas prom regeneration scheme before consulting the public.

 

Malew and Santon MHK Graham Cregeen will criticise the department for its pre-purchase of the horse tram tracks. 

 

Mr Gawne says the pre-emptive spending should not have come as a surprise to his fellow MHKs.
