Seven Islanders to attempt Greater Manchester Marathon for charity

Seven people from across the Island will be taking part in the Greater Manchester Marathon for an Island-based children's charity tomorrow.

The participants are fundraising for The Children's Centre - which offers help to Manx families and children.

Paul Sykes from Port Erin, Caroline Helks from Laxey, Imelda Quinn from Maughold, Danielle Philbin and Lee Worsfold from Douglas, Richard Torpey from Ballasalla and David Sims from Ramsey will join thousands of other runners.
