New lease of life for Laxey Pavillion

Government has teamed up with The Children's Centre to revitalise a much-loved landmark.

The Laxey Pavilion will play host to a range of facilities - with a nursery, function room and a cafe operated by Noa Bakehouse.

The Victorian building has laid dormant since 2013 - however the charity secured the tender last year.

Venue and events manager Susie Cox says it's the ideal location for this project:
