Port Erin's Marine Biological Centre is for sale

The former Marine Biological Centre in Port Erin is officially up for sale.

The Department of Infrastructure is seeking expressions of interest from prospective buyers.

Proposals to turn the site into a Marine Interpretation Centre were blocked by the planning inspector and the Council of Ministers in August last year. 

In response, Onchan MHK Peter Karran sent a letter to the Economic Development Minister in support of its re-development in January.
