Changes to Countryside Care Scheme to go before Tynwald

Tynwald will be asked to approve changes to the Countryside Care Scheme this month.

The scheme is designed to help farmers realise their full market potential whilst also offering support to manage and maintain the landscape.

It will see payments made to smaller farms to help bring them in line with some of the Island's larger farms.

Money will also be allocated to support food produce businesses.
