Ramsey MHK has mixed views on post office protest

Ramsey MHK Allan Bell says he supports keeping the post office in the town open - but doesn't see the point of protesting about the issue.

The Chief Minister says he's "surprised" that a march has been organised - it's taking place at 12.15pm today.

Under plans revealed at the end of last year the crown office will be closed and postal facilities relocated into the SPAR store.

However due to widespread criticism the closures were deferred for three months to give government a chance to look for alternatives.
