Clampdown on dog poo welcomed by public
Irresponsible dog owners who don't pick up after their pets have been warned they are being watched.
Douglas Council will start a clampdown on dog fouling in January in conjunction with environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy.
Glow in the dark posters will be placed in three dog poo hotspots around the town - the areas will then be monitored over a six week period.
The Council says there will always be a minority of people who flout the byelaws and show no respect for others or for the environment.
