Peace Light arrives on the Island

The International Peace Light - carried and lit around the world - has arrived on the Isle of Man for the first time.

Father Robert Boyle and a team of Scouts and Guides carried it from a service of dedication and distribution in St. Helens.

Since 1986 a child from Austria has travelled to Bethlehem and kindled a light from the Eternal Fame inside the Church of the Nativity.

Father Boyle says the flame has a wide reach:
