Domestic ratings system to be reformed

Reform to the Island's domestic rating system is being planned.

In January Treasury will ask Tynwald to fund the revaluation of over 40,000 domestic properties  - with valuations based on capital values across nine different bands.

The department is looking to implement it by April 2016 - Chief Minister Allan Bell says it's a tight timescale:
