Manx space industry fundraiser hosted by astronaut

The International Institute of Space Commerce has held its first Island-based fundraising event.

Space industry professionals and an ex-NASA astronaut played host to the Island's business community to provide an update on the present state of the sector and to raise money for the IISC.

Colonel Ron Garan is a science adviser to Nobel winning Economist, Mohamed Yunus, an author and noted leader in the world of social entrepreneurism.

Based in Douglas, the International Institute of Space Commerce is the world's leading think tank and authority on space commerce.
