Major works set for the Laxey Wheel
The iconic Laxey Wheel is set to undergo a £250,000 makeover.
The money will go on essential repairs including treatment of the woodwork, removal of vegetation and replacement of a vital component.
Works will be completed by a local team of contractors and is set to commence imminently.
