MHK has reservations about 'single legal entity' status

A major report into whether government should become a single legal entity has caused concern with a backbench MHK.

The report, by Sir John Elvidge, suggests the Island could adopt Scotland's less convoluted system.

As a single entity certain barriers restricting how you could take legal action against government would be removed.

Liberal Vannin leader Kate Beecroft says there are advantages to this however she's concerned as to why it is being rushed through:
