Government cutbacks will be enforceable says Chief

Government downsizing measures won't come into conflict with its ability to enforce new measures.

That's the message from the Chief Minister - who says the staff and budget are available for schemes like the introduction of new Douglas parking charges.

It was announced in the Budget earlier this year that cutting over 150 government jobs would help protect frontline services.
