Big Debate has cost over three thousand pounds

The Big Debate has cost the taxpayer £3,545 to date.

That's according to the Policy and Reform Minister who was asked for the current running total in Tynwald.

This doesn't include the purchase of an electronic voting system used to seek the opinions of attendees.

That cost £10,450 overall - government says it'll be using the system again at future presentations, so it isn't to be counted in the overall sum.

All other visuals were produced by the communications division in the Cabinet Office.
