Street collections will raise money for Gaza appeal

People on the Isle of Man are being urged to give generously to help the people of Gaza.

Collections will take place over the next three days in aid of the Disaster Emergency Committee's appeal.

Following sustained conflict in the area 1.5 million people have been left with little, or no, access to water or sanitation.

Over 20,000 people need food aid and the health system is on the verge of collapse.

The DEC's appeal, which is coordinated by the One World Centre, will provide food, water and medical supplies.

Collections will take place in Ramsey and Port Erin today, Douglas, Peel, Castletown and Port Erin tomorrow and in Douglas on Sunday.
