Island better than UK for broadband speeds
The Isle of Man ranks 4th in the world for broadband.
That's according to the Communications Commission which says 81 per cent of people have access to 40MB VDSL broadband - exceeding EU standards.
The aim is to have 87 per cent of people up to speed by the end of this year. The regulator says the industry's on track to deliver over 90 per cent coverage by 2017.
