Royal Manx Show starts today

Over 20,000 people are expected to flock to the Royal Manx Agricultural Show at Knockaloe Farm over the next two days.

They'll be the usual blend of activities and displays for all the family including performances from the Stampede Stunt Company.

Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Richard Ronan says the event is as much for the general public as it is for the farming community.

He says after significant downturn he says there are finally positive signs coming from the farming industry:
