Manannan mezzanine sparks SPC demand increase
There's been a marked increase in the number of motorcycle bookings for next TT.
Additional capacity is being provided by the Steam Packet Company which is investing in new infrastructure for the Manannan.
It's in response to demand from fans who wanted to bring more motorcycles to the annual road racing festivals.
The new mezzanine deck will carry up to 100 additional motorcycles on each sailing.
Tickets went on sale on Monday - by 3pm there had been 50 per cent more calls than any normal Monday in July with more than 600 new bookings made.
