Tynwald time limit restricts free speech says MHK
Onchan MHK Peter Karran says introducing a time limit in Tynwald is a further measure of restricting free speech.
An overwhelming majority of Tynwald Members have voted in favour of the experiment which will be trialled next week.
The motion was put forward by the Bishop Robert Paterson in March as he felt lengthy debates often led to the focus of the topic being lost.
However not all politicians are in favour as Mr Karran explains:
