DEFA Minister vows to support queenie fishermen

DEFA Minister Phil Gawne has vowed to support Queenie fishermen over what is expected to be a very tough summer.

Fishing restrictions have been enforced to help rectify the seriously depleted stocks and ensure the industry's longevity.

Despite the tough times he is urging as many people as possible to attend this weekend's Queenie Festival in Port St Mary:
