Success for Milntown gardener at Chelsea show

Milntown's garden designer has won a gold award at the Royal Horticultural Show in Chelsea.

Richard Lucas teamed up with The World of Beatrix Potter attraction in Cumbria, and Hooksgreen Herbs, to design and construct the 'Peter Rabbit Herb Garden'.

He says he is thrilled to see Manx people travel to the show to see his creation, which recreated scenes from the popular children's book.

Richard told us he'd like to do an Isle of Man garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show one year:
