Minister highlights progress on illegal fishing

The Island's Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister has spoken at an Interpol conference in West Africa.

The speech outlined progress in Sierra Leone, where they've netted an additional $16 million in earnings for the country's substance fishermen.

There are concerns, from the 50 attending law enforcement officers from the Ivory Coast, that illegal activity - like piracy - being tackled in Sierra Leone is also present there.
