Fines for people disobeying road closure orders
A man and a woman who entered closed roads yesterday have been fined.
Police say the fines of £500 and £250 reflect the danger of the offence.
The man, who was a visitor, was arrested yesterday following an altercation with a marshal after he'd tried to cross the road in Ballaugh in between the Supersport race and subsequent practice session.
Police say anyone disregarding road closed orders will be dealt with robustly.
