Locals make up majority of drink drive arrests

Four out of five of the drink drivers arrested in the last 24 hours have been locals. 

 

The embarrassing figure has been released by police today. 

 

Most of the offenders were in cars and not on bikes.

 

Police continue their patrols on the roads today for Mad Sunday.

 

Further arrests have been made for other motoring offences like having no tax or insurance.
