Anstey records fastest lap in first practice session

Perfect conditions last night paved the way for the first practice session of TT 2014.

TT legends Bruce Anstey and Dave Molyneux were the ones to watch on the night each posting the fastest lap times on the bikes and sidecars respectively.

Bruce Anstey recorded a fastest lap of 127mph on the Superbike, with local man Dave and passenger Patrick Farrance securing a lap speed of 114mph.

Elsewhere there were strong showings for John McGuiness, the Dunlop Brothers and Gary Johnson.
