MHK says 'no' to new jobseeker rules

The Island won’t be adopting stringent jobseeker rules - yet.

MHK Bill Henderson, who’s responsible for social security, says he’ll be monitoring the situation, which sees UK jobseekers signing on every day and working for free.

The National Insurance fund is expected to collapse by 2050 - consultants have now been drafted in to formulate a way ahead.
